Jessica has more than 25 years of experience in virtually every aspect of public relations in a variety of industries, including retail, telecommunications and education. She was vice president, chief communications and community officer for Belk, Inc. Today, Jessica consults with corporations, small businesses and nonprofit organizations, providing strategic communications and community outreach counsel.
Mecklenburg Times recognized Jessica as one of Mecklenburg County’s Most Influential Women in 2015. She is also the recipient of a Public Relations Society of America’s Silver Anvil Award, Leadership North Carolina’s Stanley Frank Award, and PRSA Charlotte Chapter’s Infinity Award for lifetime achievement.
She holds a bachelor of arts in journalism and mass communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She resides in Charlotte.
